Alcohol or drug misuse causes major depression. It affects the rational side of the brain, therefore makes thinking more difficult. Yet we still inflict this on ourselves. This is where In-Dependence comes into our lives. Their help and perseverance give us more clarity and understanding of each individual addiction, showing us how to beat it, therefore giving us more positivity. In-Dependence is the only support network system in our area. They discourage us from further misuse, leaving us with hope for a better future.

Words fail me to express the level of gratitude I feel. I maintained sobriety, addressed and shared feelings and problems, some still unresolved but the process is started. I feel safer.
